Is your initial assessment free?

No, our initial assessment is £25 per subject.

 It includes:

  • Diagnostic testing
  • Gap analysis
  • Personalised learning plan
  • 30-minute feedback consultation with parents
 

Can tuition be delivered online?

 
Yes. We offer online tuition across Liverpool and the UK at £20 per hour, providing flexible support for students who cannot attend in person.
 

How do I book tuition in Walton, Liverpool?

 
You can book a free consultation by contacting Ocean Tuition directly. We will discuss your child’s needs, recommend the best tuition option, and arrange a suitable timetable.
 

What is your cancellation and rearrangement policy for lessons?

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson.

If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, we will be happy to rearrange the lesson to another suitable time, subject to availability, and your prepaid lesson amount will be retained.

If a lesson is cancelled or rearranged with less than 24 hours’ notice, the prepaid amount for that session will be forfeited, as the lesson time has been reserved specifically for your child and cannot usually be offered to another student at short notice.

We therefore kindly ask parents to give as much notice as possible when changes are needed.

Multi-booking rate: If each student books 4 or more lessons in the same calendar month, the rate for each qualifying student becomes £30.00 per hour.

Refer a friend – once both students complete 5 lessons, you will each receive a free 1 hour lesson.

Do you tutor students taking both Triple Science and Double Award Science?

Yes. Ocean Tuition provides GCSE tuition for both Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as separate subjects) and Combined Science (Double Award). Our lessons are tailored to each student’s exam board and pathway, ensuring they receive the exact content and exam preparation they need.
